Comments about issues that are worth careful thought and consideration.

Including, but not limited to, fiscally responsible health care for all in USA (govt funded, but privately delivered); protection (reinstatement) of civil liberties; developing a sustainable interface with the environment; & a new focus on actions we can agree upon, rather than arguing over different underlying beliefs (or lack of same).

Each person must be responsible for his or her actions and how ones views are expressed. If we all act to bring out the best in others, it will also bring out the best in ourselves.

Since the many competing ideologies have kept us apart for millennia, and the conflicts are increasingly dangerous for all peoples, I think we should vigorously pursue this pragmatic perspective now. JTG
